Connect your equipment. Solve everyday problems.

Verellix is developing mechanisms and connected nodes to monitor and control existing equipment.

Our first focus is DEV-01, a tape-gate release node for farms and rural properties. It combines a release mechanism with field-node electronics.

Describe your problem

Current focus: development prototype

DEV-01 tape-gate release node

We’re testing the release mechanism, outdoor durability and power use, and using early field experience to improve the next iteration.

Verellix’s work is the mechanism and connected node that acts on existing equipment. For DEV-01, that means releasing a tape gate.

Reliability and suitability still need to be established through further testing.

Connecting equipment to useful software

Longer term, we want to connect equipment to useful software and explore integrations that help people with everyday tasks.

A future pump-monitoring node, for example, would monitor an existing pump. Tank, flow and pump applications are possibilities we’re exploring as development progresses.

These are development ideas. Those nodes, a commercial integration platform and a partner API are not available yet.

Practical experience. Careful development.

Verellix Limited is an early-stage, bootstrapped business based in Northland, New Zealand.

Founder Nathaniel Deverell is a marine electrical technician with practical electrical and automation experience. That hands-on background informs how we approach development: start with a real task, test the hardware, and learn from what happens in use.

What problem do you need solved?

Think about a task involving equipment you already use. What needs attention, and what would make it easier? Your experience can help shape future mechanisms and connected nodes.

Only the first two questions are required. Review your answers locally, then select Send enquiry to share them with Verellix. Add an email address if you would like a reply.

For example, releasing a tape gate, checking a tank, or monitoring an existing pump.
What happens, how often, and what makes it difficult?
A manual check, a trip across the farm, an existing system, or something else?
What would change for you: fewer trips, earlier warning, less wasted water, or another outcome?
Add technical details, if you know them
Include anything useful about the setting or integration you have in mind. It is fine to leave this blank.
